Blockchain Business Development & Sales

We are looking for a blockchain aficionado to lead blockchain partnership identification, development and execution. We really need you to drive commercialisation and get the sales off the ground and meet the targets we have set both regional and international, kinda everywhere. Your responsibilities, if you accept, will include the following, but not be limited to:

  • Build the eco-system seriously fast and with high quality participants that will compliment and expand the business rapidly
  • Be driven and motivated by going after humongous goals and rewards
  • Represent the company externally, establish and grow the adoption of the platform, and expand business relationships within Southern Africa, or how wide and high you want to go
  • Develop a systematic approach for identifying, assessing and prioritizing partnership opportunities with micro, small, medium and large businesses
  • Manage the end-to-end process of partnership development and business growth in accordance with tough and massive targets within ridiculous time frames
  • Negotiate appropriate and mutually beneficial terms for each partnership and business relationship
  • Manage the execution/implementation of all partnerships, working in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders and leading the way for exponential expansion and growth

These requirements are to attract only the best, the brightest, and those who build solid relationships as trusted advisers with:

  • Prior experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, preferably relevant to B2B marketplace, eCommerce, Finance, Manufacturing and Blockchain
  • Have a solid track record of commercialisation of innovative solutions and breaking into existing and carving out new markets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a propensity to close deals within very short turn-around times, and don’t forget responding to midnight early morning messages from an anxious paranoid founder
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong sense of accountability and the ability to function both autonomous and be part of centralized yet distributed and disturbed executive management team
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about business eco-systems, creating new economies, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, as well as connected and autonomous cars to spark and round of conversations
  • English fluency required; African languages and or French preferred

We’ll need you part-time so you can’t leave your day-job yet, and we’ll negotiate a mix of fiat and cryptocurrency as reward for your efforts. You will enjoy:
